Friends of Lullwater Lake not only wants to restore our lake, but also safeguard other Florida environments
Lullwater Lake, panama city beach
Lullwater Lake's health has been on a steady decline for years. The influx of lilly pads, while seemingly natural, is linked to surrounding land development disrupting outfall regeneration. The once thriving fish population has shown serious signs of stress and lake residents can no longer navigate the waters recreationally.
While communal and economical growth may flourish, Lullwater Lake's natural outflow to the Gulf has been mis-managed. We are curently working with a team of landscape architects, civil engineers, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and local governmental agencies to develop an action plan to help one of Bay County's largest costal dune lakes return it's natural splendor.
